Hi, I'm Amiel Goldberg, and I'm running to represent Connecticut's 149th District. After five years serving Stamford, I'm ready to bring that same practical, community-focused approach to Hartford.

St. Leo's Fair has been part of my family's life for years. I used to come here with my two daughters when they were growing up. Coming back now as a candidate, talking with voters about the community we all care about, made the night feel completely different in the best way. So grateful to everyone who stopped to say hello, share what's on their mind, and enjoy the fair with us.

Happy Labor Day! Today we celebrate the people whose hard work keeps our communities strong. Wishing everyone across Greenwich and Stamford a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved holiday.

As a community, we voted Tina Courpas into office. But did she vote for us? I got into this race because I didn't feel represented in Hartford. I believe our State Representative should be fighting for the people who live here: our families, our schools, our neighborhoods, and our future. So I think it's worth taking a closer look at Tina Courpas's voting record and asking a simple question: did those votes actually serve our community? You deserve a representative who listens to you, shows up for you, and votes for you.
